BEWARE - Fast Track at airports
BEWARE! Holiday Extras Fast Track bookings…
Just went to book fast track for Manchester Airport with Holiday Extras as I have done on several occasions before, but it’s a good job I read the information properly as it was for fast track ‘on arrival’ back in the UK! I’ve never had an issue returning, just queuing to before departing.

Big Fee to Park in a Field
Booked Holiday extras self park for Luton airport through my AA membership. Expected a decent parking experience but what I got was a poorly signed farmers field in the backwoods of Luton 20 mins from the airport. I have a Mercedes and was very concerned at the tiny allocated spaces having been the victim of scratches to my vehicle in the past. The parking surface was a poorly lit unmade dirt road leading to bog standard fields. There were no toilets and signage was minimal. We returned a week later to find our car completely covered in dirt from the field. I have used Purple Parking in the past at Gatwick to a modern secure parking lot but Luton was basically large unkept fields. I used a secure anti theft bar on the steering wheel as the area didn't make me feel my car was safe. The parking here desperately needs investment and upgrading which shouldn't be hard as they charge enough.

After anew parking times. After a stressful experience with BA cancelling flights and only getting confirmation about holiday at last minute Holiday Extras were so helpful with refund and rebooking new parking times Such a relief

Booked car into parking for few days
Booked car into parking for few days - very easy to arrange, guys knew what they were doing and expedited it promptly. Took off North, landed South terminal - not a problem. Got a valet clean - very nice. No issues whatsoever. Wouldn't hesitate to use again.

I am giving Holiday Extras a 5 star review, as yet I have not used them, BUT, I recently gave them a negative review based on mis-information provided by my holiday company, no names but they like to think their logo looks like a smile. I was incorrectly led to believe that HE had failed to correctly book all the elements requested, and it was only when I suggested that they contact the CEO of HE that they came clean and admitted it was their “error and mistake” and these just happen. Again apologies if my previous review was mis-leading, it was an “error and mistake”.

I was making a Hotel and Parking Booking
I was making a Hotel and Parking booking for a future holiday as I needed to use up a voucher for a pre-covid holiday cancellation. I did not have the actual flight details, just the dates, therefore when it moved onto the actual details for the booking I did not have them, but was passed the payment screen. I contacted Holiday Extras via their online Chat facility and within 10 minutes the booking had been completed and confirmation sent to me. It was the first time that I had used the Chat facility and I am very impressed with how it went.

Would never use for UK airport pickup again
A diabolical experience of a pick-up from Manchester airport yesterday. Took nearly an hour from coming out into arrivals hall to setting off from airport. Driver was rude on the phone and had no idea where he was and how to meet us. Was not waiting in arrivals with a name board, told me on the phone that he didn’t know his way around and left us standing outside in 34 degrees after hanging up on us twice and threatening to leave without locating us. We eventually set off from the airport nearly an hour later. Extremely stressful experience which holiday extras charged top dollar for. Have written full, detailed account and submitted it. The fact that the reply says it will take up to 30 days to respond really does give me a sense of the number of complaints they must get!!! Book with caution.

Shocking customer service
Shocking customer service. Submitted a claim a month ago. Called three times to chase after they acknowledged receipt of ludicrous amount of paperwork only to be told the have scanned incorrectly at their end. Promised call backs 3 times but nothing. Been on hold for 45 min this morning but will now claim through small claims at local court.

AIRPORT LOUNGE BOOKING
I made a AIRPORT LOUNGE BOOKING which was a slight hiccup whereby I ended paying 3 times for the same event! I cancelled the first one and was told I'd be issued a voucher. I went onto virtual chat and the matter was sorted without any fuss, 2 refunds and one of the initial enquiries booked. Excellent service in this instanced.

Appalling
Appalling! Booked flights and one was cancelled! We were going on the 25th of July got offered a new flight the 5th of August! (too long In between)
Had to rebook our own flights, more money and now have to wait 10 weeks for a refund.
Luckily we had the money to do this. I feel so sorry for people who can’t go on their holidays because of poor service provided!!
